Tank Coating HV & SV
Tank Coating HV & SV is a lanolin-based non-drying solventfree ballast tank soft coating that is surface tolerant and does not require sandblasting prior to application. It has a high polarity with strong molecular affinity for metal surfaces. The coating can be applied easily in one coat by airless spraying, by brush or roller on both rusted steel and new steel and is compatible with old deteriorated coatings. Repair works such as welding and other hot work can be carried out without removal of coating.
Tank Coating HV & SV is recommended particularly for re-coating of completely rusted permanent ballast-tanks in all types of vessels. It is also recommended for floating docks, void spaces, cofferdams, offshore leg support tanks etc. It is also suitable for application on new steel plates provided millscale has been removed.
