Alkalinity Control
Alkalinity Control is a concentrated liquid alkaline compound. It is used in conjunction with hardness control for the prevention of scale and corrosion in low and high-pressure boiler systems.
Alkalinity Control is added to the boiler water to maintain a optimum alkalinity level to prevent corrosion. Under these conditions, calcium and magnesium hardness salts cannot form and the precipitate can be removed by blow-down.
