Hardness Control
Hardness Control is a dry phosphates based powder. It is used in conjunction with Alkalinity Control for the prevention of scale and corrosion in low and high-pressure boiler systems.
Hardness Control is added to the boiler water to maintain an optimum phosphate level. Under these conditions, calcium and magnesium hardness salts cannot form and the precipitate can be removed by blow-down.
